David Leddy is a business leader of influence.

The founder and managing director of DLA Partners, he willingly shoulders the dual responsibilities of leading his own successful accounting firm and guiding the considerable fortunes of his clients who are among Australia’s most successful business owners.
Astute and insightful, David is an innovator who applies his experience of more than 35 years to problem-solving, and at times trouble-shooting, to deliver outcomes that commonly bridge his clients’ substantial business and private affairs.

David’s clients are diverse. They include professionals as well as owners and managers of medium to very large businesses. Often with interstate and international divisions these businesses hail from the food service industry, manufacturing, professional services, medical and health, construction, industry, transport and motor vehicle industry.
David has a genuine passion for business that manifests in what might best be described as an x-factor. He blends technical excellence with an innate ability to translate concepts into practical form while adding entrepreneurial insights that allow a good idea to not only take flight, but to soar. Included among his most revered career highlights are building a modest family-owned Brisbane bricklaying business into the largest in South East Queensland at its peak; transforming a local food and wine business with just one location into an empire with eight operations and an annual turnover that increased twenty-fold to $160 million under David’s watchful guidance.

But it’s not just big business that inspires David. He has worked alongside individuals with specific goals and dreams and unique business and financial management needs. Among David’s most valued clients are an elite group of Australians that includes world-class opera singers and sportsmen and women.

Personally…

Married to Tracy and father of three boys, David has always lived in Brisbane’s northern suburbs.

David enjoys travelling with his wife and spending time with family and friends. While he finds peace when out on the water, his true passion is sport. He is an avid fan of AFL, golf and tennis. David served on the board of the Aspley Hornets for several years and was instrumental in re-establishing the Zillmere Eagles and returning the Sandgate Hawks to the AFL league. Indeed, the AFL Queensland community has benefited significantly from David’s freely given business and financial advice, and so too have more than 200 juniors who have been given the opportunity to continue to play with a financially sound and well managed football club. David successfully blends his love of business and sport with his connection to the local community.
