The Senior Accountant will be responsible for quality accounting advice to a range of clients.
The role involves-
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for variety of clients including some large and complex groups
- Prepare cashflow forecasts and operating budgets for clients
- Review BAS and IAS, FBT calculations and completion
- Preparation of budgets cashflows, forecasts, and correspondence to clients
- Assist in mentoring and onboarding junior accountants
- Assist with special work for clients, eg. tax advice, structuring, business purchase and sales, etc.

About you-
- Minimum 3 to 4 years accounting experience in Public Practice
- Bachelor of Business/Commerce, preferably majoring in Accounting, coupled with a CA
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience mentoring and developing others
- Knowledge of payroll processing for multiple clients, and ability to resolve general client enquiries related to payroll
- Experience with relevant external stakeholders, specifically the ATO and Office of State Revenue
- Strong Australian technical accounting, tax and financial reporting knowledge
