Important Update Regarding QBCC Annual Reporting

DLA Partners Professional Accountants and Advisors in Brisbane Qbcc Annual Reporting

There have been some recent changes to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) reporting process.

The QBCC has discontinued its manual email service for lodging annual reports and financial statements – this means DLA and you as the licence holder can no longer email the annual reports to the QBCC.

As a result, all QBCC license holders now have two options for fulfilling their reporting obligations:

Option 1: You as QBCC licence holder lodge online via the myQBCC website

  • DLA will provide you with the necessary information to submit your annual QBCC form and financial statements online via the myQBCC system, with your access as the QBCC licence holder.
  • For the year ending 30 June 2025 and subsequent years, we will assist you by preparing the required documents and providing them in a user-friendly format for your convenient submission prior to the 31 December/31 March due date.

Option 2: Granting DLA Access to Your myQBCC Account

  • This option allows DLA to directly lodge the reports on your behalf through your MyQBCC account.
  • If this option is selected, you will need to advise us and we will provide you with the DLA email to be added as a nominated representative in your myQBCC account.
